| Remarks | Shrub 5-15 ft. Corolla and lobes rose, funnel-campanulate, slightly spotted darker. Filaments 10 pink, pubescent in lower 1/3 rd. Style glabrous, deep rose. Ovary densely glandular, glands pink. Pedicel densely glandular, stalks tipped rose. Leaves rather leathery. Upper surfaces matt dark green, with a few long stalked glands on midribs; young leaves ususally fringed with long and short glands: lower surface pale green, with more long stlked glands on midribs. Petioles dark red, very densely glandular with very long stalks. These extend beyond the last year's growth. Calyx irregular, pink, slightly fleshy, glandular.
