| Determination Remarks | Trimen cited "Fimbristylis dichotoma Nees" in synonymy, which is a reference to Nees von Esenbeck's treatment of Cyperaceae in Wight's Contr. Bot. India 1834. On pages 101-102, under F. dichotoma Vahl, Nees gave a description which validates Trimen's name, and also cited Wallich 3516a, which is therefore a Syntype. |
