Habitat | Dry, sandy coastal woods of Quercus alba, Pinus strobus, Acer rubrum, Betula nigra, Fadus grandifolia, shrubs of Sassafras albidum and Clethra alnifolia with mixed Carya sp. and Carpinus caroliniana. Area mixed with low boggy places with Sphagnum and much Matteuccia struthiopteris, Osmunda spp. and Carex spp. Growing on moist wood in small depression with standing water and Sphagnum and ferns. Deep shade. |
