Remarks[comment on Lichen Portal: "Robbins' death in 1930, makes a 1959 collection date improbable. 1959 WAS the date of one review of this specimen. The frequency of Robbins' collecting in Wareham makes proposing an alternative date difficult. Of his DATED specimens from Wareham I have these counts per year. 1929, would be a good bet, but is far from certain. 219 1923 ; 217 1925 ; 159 1922 ; 151 1924 ; 103 1926 ; 84 1920 ; 77 1921 ; 68 1928 ; 25 1927 ; 23 1919 ; 14 1929 ; 5 1917 ; 3 1918 ; 2 1930 ; 2 1905 ; 1 1916" Alan Peterson, 2022-08-11]
