Habitat | Heavily grazed broad flood plain & adjacent dry slopes. Plain with sparse herbs (many chenopods) & grasses; some small sand dune with denser vegetation; margins more silty & largely planted with Populus or with Hippophaea thickets, soils often incrusted salt. Dry slopes dominated with tucssocks of Achnatherum. Growing in open sandy areas. |
