Habitatopen woodland of around 100 tree species with among them a lot of Fabaceae, and Julbernardia globiflora and Brachystegia spiciformis as the main tree species. Some parts with a lot of regeneration and Poaceae, and other parts with a very low undergrowth. One little river. Sandy poor soil. T° and P° are the ones of Harare city. The zone has been used for firewood provision but it is now enclosed by fences so only a few botanists or walkers can go inside. Ants' and termites' nests, zebras, impalas, wild pigs. Rainy season. Flat.

RemarksThe host is young (less than 1.50 m high and thin) and has only a few remnants of the parasite but a lot of flowers of the year.
