| Remarks | This species is widely distributed in the Philippines at low altitudes, but is nowhere abundant. It grows in open grassy places. As noted by Blanco the fruit (and the whole plant for that matter) has the odor and taste of pepino or cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) |
