Habitat | Stony slope with vertical stripes of unconsolidated scree with very few plants, semiconsolidated scree with low but rich cover of broad-leafed herbs, and alpine turf, often in stoes; lowermost slopes with more continuous turf, sometimes with hummocks in wetter areas with Pedicularis rhynanthoides. Growing on damper frost-heave areas. |
