RemarksSpecies Balncoanae 14. The tomato was introduced from Mexico at an early date by the Spaniards and is now naturalized and widely distributed in the Philippines. The form described by Blanco is the wild or somewhat cultivated one with fruits about 1 cm. in diameter, as represented by the illustrative material distributed.
