Remarks= Cardamine pachystigma (S. Watson) Rollins (Harvard Pap. Bot. 4: 45. 1993). Within the protologue, Watson cited 3 collections ("J. G. Lemmon, Mrs. R. M. Austin, and Mrs. M. E. P. Ames"); Detling cited Ames collection as the type; thus, he inadvertently lectotypified the name; type annotated by O. E. Schulz in 1902, R. C. Rollins (GH) in 1984 and by K. N. Gandhi (GH) in 1996.
