Remarks[locality from Smithsonian Contr. Knowl. 5(6): 87. 1853. Gray published this as 1220, a narrow-leaved form of Heliomeris multiflora, and then evidently changed his mind that it was his var. hispida and changed the nummber to 1222a on the label]
