| Remarks | Valley: one side with areas of very closely cropped Kobesia meadow and mostly low bushland with Salix, Sibira, and some Rhododendron, densest along side valley with dry stream bed; the other side with more open bushland and areas of consolidated scree. Erect perennial from deeply buried massive taproot; stems brittle, upper part tinged purple; leaves often purplish below; in fruit. Growing on disturbed soil banks in shade |
