This isotype is part of Verdoorn's 'Hepaticae Selectae et Criticae' (as mentioned in protologue). Label information was mistyped, most notably the collection number (listed as 3450; should be 34501). This taxon = A. ciliatus (Mitt.) Schiffn., according to annotation by D.G. Long, 1980. Herbarium Verdoorn No. 23127.
