Determination Remarks"I find only 3 seeds in the packet market 11846: 1. The smooth gray seed described by Weatherby 2. A longer, more dimpled seed 3. A narrow, pale brown seed with weak transverse [?] These probably represent 3 different species. On the sheet, in place is a capsule (see note on sheet) is a 4th type of seed, plumply ovoid, dark in color, tuberculate or wrinkled. This is the seed of Euphorbia (Chamaesyce) amychioides. R. RemarksWeatherby described the "smooth gray seed" of another species, from among those of 3 different species in the packet. An authentic seed of E. (C.) amychioides is still attached to the plant.
