Determination RemarksComments from P. Ormerod: Rhomboda blackii (Ames) Ormd. [Austral. Orchid Rev.(63)4:11. 1998]-Further material from Mindanao may show this to be the same as R. weberi (Ames) Ormd. The differences are minimal R. weberi has larger flowers, larger wings on the colunm, a thicker, more prominent bicarinate callus on the lip. These features often prove to be variable when a wider variety of material is examined.
