Remarks

[Fragment is folded in blue paper with notes on source of specimen ("Texan plants ... coll. of unknown origin") and naming of species. Outside of paper is annotated: "Cyperus calcaratus. Nees. Texas" and (in dif. hand):"[C. arenicola Steud. Cyp. 51 seems to be based on the same thing. U. L. B. Nov. 1893]." This blue packet is enclosed in a white packet with name and "Vincent, Pl. Tex. n. 2. b."? written on it. as C. pseudovegetus Steudel var. pseudovegetus.]
