RemarksSpecimen at the bottom of the page is the Type. "Both collections on sheet bear collection #2094, but were collected on different days in 1898 and 1899 (apparently). It seems that Piper intended only the 1899 collection to be the type. Both specimens are of Castilleja rubida Piper." - M. Egger 1996
