RemarksLocality from Gard. & Forest 8: 44. 1895. With photo taken by Alexander Walker of Williamstown, and a letter to C. S. Sargent received 8 Sept. 1894 from Samuel F. Clarke of Williams College, Williamstown. It is unclear from Sargent's article in Garden and Forest, and from the letter, who actually collected the specimen.
