In Nov 9. 1926 C. Schweinfurth annotated in the sheet with a drawing of the type from Herb. Schlechter (barcode No.00104158): "N.B. On our Powell 126 is an envelope containing some flowers with an around column, but they are different from the ones of the mounted specimen and appears to be referable to S. dolichophylla".
In the sheet of the mounted specimen (barcode No.00287721) C. Schweinfurth wrote: "Most flowers in the pocket seem to be referable to S. dolicophylla Schltr. whereas the specimen is surely S. behrii". [filed under] [current name] |
